When I attempted to delete the duplicate birthdays, a message saying that this is a read-only information and can't be edited would. However, there are still duplicate birthday records in iCloud as shown in the attached picture. While getting rid of this calendar is as easy as selecting it in Outlook and pressing Delete, recreating it is a bit harder, but not by much. However, when you are using a Microsoft 365 Exchange Online, or Exchange 2016/2019 account, then you can indeed have an additional Birthday Calendar since web versions of Outlook don't place birthdays for contacts in the main Calendar folder but in a separate Birthday Calendar folder.
